Highly Qualified Instructors
Our co-founders, Kim and Alison, are experts in their fields and both are Master Studio Teachers.
They founded the Centre in 1998 and are regularly adding to their qualifications and experience.
Emma has supported me through two hip replacement surgeries and one full shoulder replacement (mid 2024).
Her programmes of rehabilitation have been extremely detailed and easy to follow, I love her human stick drawings!
Emma is extremely knowledgeable and she has fully engaged with all my surgeons who carried out my procedures and this has resulted in multiple attendance of similar operations, during her two years at the Orthopaedic hospital in London. Thus giving her an unusual insight into the physicality and the problems associated with both pre and post operative rehabilitation
As a long-time member of Studio classes at the Centre, I can truly say that Alison has kept me on my feet through back, hip and knee operations. Her professionalism and extensive knowledge of the human body is second to none.
"I have attended the IPC for over 20 years. The thing that stands out to me is the level of care and professionalism. We are encouraged to learn how to look after our bodies. Sessions are continually varied which makes it more engaging.

Why Pilates?
Pilates involves both mental and physical training to achieve an awareness and control of the body. Through a rhythmic and balanced workout, the core postural muscles are strengthened, muscle imbalances are corrected and the body is realigned to look longer and leaner and to work more efficiently.
